TTC Kids Workshops

Planned practical community workshops where children can make something real, build confidence and learn useful skills with participating local tradespeople.

Why TTC is creating the programme

TTC Kids Workshops is intended to bring local families and skilled people together through useful, carefully planned activities. The aim is to help children experience the satisfaction of making something themselves, spend meaningful time away from screens and meet other children and families.

First workshop status

The first workshop is currently in planning. The working model is a maximum of 40 children per class, with separate groups for ages 7 to 9 and 10+, and a planned standard price of €35 per child. A parent or guardian must remain at the venue throughout the workshop. The date, venue, duration, project and instructors are not yet confirmed.

Paid booking will only open after the venue, activity, instructors, insurance requirements, date, capacity and safety procedures are confirmed. Families can register their interest without booking or paying.

Possible practical activities

• Wooden planters, bird boxes or toolboxes
• Mosaic, tiling, painting and decorating projects
• Landscaping and planting activities
• Safe plumbing demonstrations using suitable components

Safety first

Children will use age-appropriate hand tools and supervised cordless tools. Children aged 10+ may use selected cutting tools at individually supervised stations. Activities remain subject to the final equipment, venue and insurance arrangements.
